"Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD = Stalemate" – Sony

Now, now, before we start hauling insults and shouting "fanboy" to one another over the title of this article, let me just explain.

It seems like the CEO of Sony, yes no jokes its Howard Stringer, has come out of the woodwork, and reportedly said that the battle between Blu-ray and HD-DVD is a stalemate. Is it me or does this just seem ironic? Here you have a Sony employee, saying that the battle that is currently is tipped in Blu-ray’s favour is a stalemate. Doesn’t this just seem stupid?

Now that Sony has acknowledged it maybe all the "fanboys" will to.

    Like $99 cheap? 😉

I just have to giggle, they’ve been so arrogant about BR for so long and now it’s kind of “oh ****”.

Fair enough, but aren’t the dual players still around $1000?
