Could Logitech’s G305 convince you to switch to a wireless mouse?

For many gamers, the prospect of a wireless mouse is akin to heresy. There’s too much latency, there’s the chance that it might go dead during pivotal moments, there’s a risk of dropout, and of course, the chance that it could end up half way across the room when some bastard half way across a map has sniped you. Barring the tendency to use it as a missile of sorts, that’s just no longer true of most good modern wireless mice.

And Logitech doesn’t just make good wireless mice; they make great ones. Their newest, gamer-focused wireless mouse is trying to convince the masses that there’s nothing wrong with wireless.

The Logitech G305 is that mouse, and it offers superfast response, and says Logitech, up to 250 hours of continuous use on a single AA battery. Here’s the bulletpoint list of features:

“For years, we have been committed to delivering wireless performance that was faster than our competitor’s wired offerings,” vice president and general manager of Logitech Gaming Ujesh Desai said oft he device when it was unveiled last month.  “Through our work Wireless has advanced to the point where esports pros are trusting our innovative technology and winning with our wireless mice. With the G305 we wanted to bring the same top-of-the-line technology to everyone.”

I’m a huge fan of Logitech’s wireless mice (The MX Master 2S may just be my favourite mouse, ever) – and I have no doubt that the G503 will work as advertised. We have no idea what local pricing of the device will be, but it’s US price sits at a more than reasonable $60.
