Magnavox Odyssey
Released in 1972
The Magnavox Odyssey is the first home video game console, predating the Atari PONG home consoles by three years. The Odyssey was designed by Ralph Baer, who had a working prototype finished by 1968.

Have you ever been searching for the entire history of video game consoles without much luck? Yeah me neither but if you ever need to just head on over to www.thegameconsole.com, which seems to have all consoles ever released since 1972 all the way through to this generation. Including the XaviXPORT which I only ever saw the attachment for in Pick ‘n Pay… I think the Wii has now completely destroyed it’s market…
