Today is an important day for the country. It marks the end of a 6 year wait, and the start of a month long celebration of the beautiful game. In honour of that BT Games are running a fantastic competition for South Africa’s Bafana-Bafana Superfan.
All you have to do is get yourself to the events arena at Menyln Park shopping centre in Pretoria, kitted out as the national team’s number 1 fan.
At certain hours throughout the day (available to view on flyers in the centre) those who meet the exacting standards will be presented with a Blue Card. The 10 best fans of the day will get to strut their stuff on stage, with the winner being chosen by a celebrity judge – and the crowd.
the sight bit of public embarrassment will be worth it – because the prizes are awesome. Here’s what you could win :
Daily Prizes for each day:
1st Prize: Xbox 360 Elite Console and game hamper
2nd & 3rd Prize: Game hamper from EA Sports
If you can’t make it today, they’ll be running the event on 16 June and 11 July as well, and prizes are up for grabs on all 3 event days.
