There should be mandatory classes for raunchy, rowdy weekend warriors who go away for a quick camping trip in some secluded part of the forest, because something bad alway happens at the end of the day.
Usually involving such things as ancient demon books, serial killers and face-eating viruses, but that’s besides the point. Chris Hemsworth, Fran Kranz, Kristen Connolly and the rest of their expendable films obviously skipped those classes, as it looks certain that they’re going to die in a death-trap that was constructed by Hill-billies that had too much time and cash on their hands.
The Cabin in the woods is co-written by Cloverfield colloborater Drew Goddard, and has some production skills thrown into it by The Avengers director Joss Whedon, with a US premiere on April 13, Friday.
Good date, right?
