Halo Wars is being released this year and it’s still pretty unclear whether or not fans of the series will be interested enough in the console RTS to actually make it a success.
This short video documentary gives us a lot of information on the game as well as a bit of an idea of how the developers wanted to approach the Halo universe from a different angle. The main question that arises in my mind is how the controls will work out in the end.
The C&C series has managed to pull off a pretty decent controller based control system and then we cannot forget the idea put through by the EndWar developers, which has the game being controlled entirely by voice commands.
The Halo franchise is really successful, but is it successful enough to make Halo Wars a winner with the fans of the shooter?

As a rabid halo verse fan, I’ve got this on pre -order.
I’ve just read the Halo: Contact Harvest Paperback, and cannot wait to give this sucker a spin in the drive.
Spartans can still high jack stuff!!!
Going to be awesome.
