I was listening to Major Nelsons podcast earler today and besides all the interesting, but gamingly* useless, information on Iraq were a few nuggets of interesting Xbox 360 information.
First up was the fact that they have heard all your complaints about how slow the Xbox 360 guide is and they are working on speeding it up significantly, now personally I have never noticed that it is slow but I guess faster is better so yay for that one.
Then they also spoke about the fact that ex EA man John Schappert is going back to EA as their new COO… according to an official statement John had a positive impact on everyone at Microsoft but if you leave a job so soon after arriving I don’t think your tenor can be classed as successful.
They also briefly discussed the fact that there won’t be a new Xbox console in 2010 and that the Project Natal device will supplement the existing 360 architecture.
Lastly, the most recent Xbox Live maintenance was all about preparing it for things to come, namely Facebook and Twitter integration but right now you can’t see any differences.
*Gamingly is so a word…
