Here at TheMovies.co.za, we pride ourselves on always trying to bring you guys the latest movie stuff as it happens. However, today we’re actually bringing you something that’s already about a week old: the first trailer for Kindergarten Cop 2.

Normally a sequel to a famous Arnold Schwarzenegger flick that was a gigantic success back in 1990, and which now stars fellow classic action hero Dolph Lundgren would be a big deal. So what happened? Was this one overlooked? Did it just slip through the cracks?

Nope. I actually saw it last week as it broke, but it’s just taken me about a week to build up the mental strength to actually post it, because by all that is holy, it is bad. And not even in some kind of funny ironic way. Just plain garden variety, unforgiveable, please give me back the two minutes of my life and whatever brain cells you just stole bad!

Check it out for yourself below at your own risk.

Assigned to recover sensitive stolen data, a gruff FBI agent (Dolph Lundgren) goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher, but the school’s liberal, politically correct environment is more than he bargained for.

Kindergarten Cop 2 is directed by Don Michael Paul (Half Past Dead, Who’s Your Caddy), and also stars Bill Bellamy. It’s set for a limited May 17 release.

Some movies don’t need sequels, this is one of them.

I like how the only funny bits are the jokes they recycled, and then went on to put in the trailer as if to remind us more about the original than this dreck.
