There’s more to Dragon Ball XenoVerse than just a story…about screaming guys punching one another. There’s also Parallel Quests, side-missions which can reward players with plenty of cool gear and even more experience points. You’ll need to work your way through dozens of these missions in order to really create a powerful character that can take on Super Saiyans and the Majin. And you’ll also need to complete certain hidden mission tasks in order to really get the maximum benefits. So here’s how you can do just that.
Remember, to unlock all of the Parallel Quests, you’ll need to finish story mode as well. That includes the Bardock and Broly sagas, which can be unlocked by collecting time shards. To get those shards, you need to do the following:
- Get one from quest 3 in the Demigra Saga
- Speak to Recon after story mode is complete
- Get an Ultimate Finish in Parallel Quest 49 (Random chance to drop)
- Get an Ultimate Finish in Parallel Quest 14 (Goku’s SSJ is very random to trigger) or 18 (Random chance to drop)
- Get an Ultimate Finish in Parallel Quest 2 or 21 (Random chance to drop)
You’ll also get Parallel Quests from characters such as Raditz, Nappa, Kid Gohan, Guldo, Teen Gohan, Android #17, Goten, Majin Buu, Kid Trunks and Broly. Here’s the full list of quests to take on then:
