Hot or Not? Terminator: Salvation – Trailer

We have had some pretty decent movie licensed games releasing recently, which makes you wonder if times are finally changing.

This trailer for Terminator: Salvation is specifically geared to give us a peak at ground enemies, but also shows off quite a lot of the gameplay and visuals. The graphics are looking pretty decent to be honest, but it’s the gameplay that is the most important, now isn’t it?

It looks as though they are pushing for a semi Gears of War clone, with cover systems and all the rest and doesn’t actually look too bad to be honest. We will have to wait until we can see more of it before jumping to any conclusions, but so far it looks like it has potential.

The game will be releasing this month on the 19th for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.

So what’s the verdict from our readers so far? Hot or not?

When i started watching it look good with the cover system and smooth movements but after a while it just started looking very generic. Hope it doesn’t turn into another Wanted:Weapons of Fate. . .

With only 2 days to go before the release, I’m surprised no reviews have come out. I suppose inFAMOUS fever is to blame.

Games Master UK gave it a 62% saying, “Lacks the intensity, variety and action the Terminator license deserves.” [June 2009, p.76]
