I have heard a little bit about ‘Wet’ here and there, and besides the fact that the developers chose a really akward name coupled together a feisty female lead that isn’t really impressing anyone, I had heard that the game looked like it borrowed heavily from many other games.
Now, I am not against borrowing elements, because at the end of the day, if a game is fun then it is fun. I cannot however say that I’m impressed with what I’ve seen so far. The gameplay looks repetitive and the animations on the moves are far from smooth.
It makes me wonder if these guys think that by calling a game ‘Wet’, having a sexy female lead with guns and saying the words Tarantino and Rodriguez, that everyone will be so impressed that they will run out and buy the game.
I’m not sold so far.

I dunno. I kinda like it. It’s just funny how when there isn’t hype for a game everyone shits on it.

I guess if the game was in proper working order, I’d get it…
That or it could be that I dig BloodRayne style games.

I thought it sounded okay, I didn’t watch much of the video but just listened to the audio and it sounds fun

The whole hot female 3rd person run ‘n gun game is always going to be popular with the teens, same as Bullet Witch and X-Blade and Bayonetta etc etc.
If they make it fun, i don’t mind staring at some perfectly shaped T&A while playing my action game. It worked for DOA4.

If they can polish off the gameplay and make the levels
a lot more fun and imaginative than the one they’ve shown,
it could be fun.

It doesn’t look terrible but there is a lot of room for improvement. If you look at the vid it feels like you have seen everything already, slide on knees, shoot a bit, swing the sword a bit, run on a wall, rinse and repeat.
