Mockingjay-header

Confession: I’ve yet to see a single Hunger Games movie. I don’t have a problem with Jennifer Lawrence mind you, or the whole Young Adult phase that Hollywood is currently milking like an anorexic cow. I just can’t find myself interested enough to bother renting those movies. Still, this artwork for the upcoming two-parter third film might finally change my mind.Straight from the Capitol, are all new posters for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. It does a solid job in expanding the universe of the Hunger Games, and with less bloodshed this time. Take a look:

In honor of our brave brothers and sisters of Panem, we’re pleased to share the DISTRICT HEROES COLLECTION.
Today, The Capitol, under the authority of the Capitol Ministry of Information, released seven District Heroes across Yahoo and Tumblr.
Please take a minute to reflect and learn more about these esteemed district citizens at the links below.
We also strongly encourage you and your readers to register for updates from Capitol TV. Remember, we are #OnePanem.

Not bad. The next Hunger Games movie is out in November and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.

  1. Worst article ever. If you’re not interested or couldn’t be less bothered to even rent the movies, why the hell are you writing an article about it?? (Or writing at all on this site) So I couldn’t find myself interested to read the rest of your article. Next time maybe just paste the link to wear you found the images.

Worst article ever? Not a chance. I’ve written, way way worse stuff on this site so far. And yes, you might be right. Kervyn has already suspended me today until I finally watch The Hunger Games.

I’ve seen both films and I don’t derive much from these pictures. Sometimes stuff is written to give you, the fan of a certain film, something to enjoy. Writers can’t keep track of everything, but that shouldn’t stop them from spreading the word.
