With Paranormal Activity proving to be a license to print money, producer Jason Blum may have hit the nail on the head with found footage horror movies. Now, he’s preparing for something new, but he’s not straying too far from his spooky house formula, in Dark Skies.
Starring Keri Russell, Josh Hamilton, Dakota Goyo and J.K Simmons, Dark Skies sees one family terrorised by the shenanigans of ghosts aliens, as they find themselves targeted for home invasion.
While director Scott Charles Stewart may not have a solid track record, thanks to underwhelming films such as Legion and Priest, Dark Skies looks like a decent change of pace for him, and one that could be a winner, all wrapped up in some proper, non Blair Witch, filmmaking.
Dark Skies is scheduled for release next year February.

Why do these films always cast actors and actresses that look like they’ve JUST been let out of rehab?

I like the look of that. Sigh. I’m such a sucker for these films. Why? WHY?!?! *shakes fist at the heavens*

Am I the only one that was very disappointed to find that this would not be a movie sequel to that great 90’s sci-fi TV series of the same name?
