It doesn’t matter how good you are, every director is bound to make a bad film or two in their career. Kevin Smith is one such director, having almost left Hollywood after some recent failure. Lately though, Smith has been re-energised, working on plenty of new material. While Clerks 3 is still a ways away, it looks like he’ll be jumping straight back into a weird new vein of terror as he jingles all the way into Anti-Claus.
With Tusk almost done, Smith will reunite a cast that includes Michael Parks, Justin Long, Genesis Rodriguez and Haley Joel Osment. Formerly titled Comes the Krampus, the film will focus on the yuletide creature who kidnaps children, shoves them into a sack and regularly whips the crap out of them with a stick.
It’s still in the early stages, but it looks like Anti-Claus will be getting priority ahead of Clerks 3.
