Mr Eko is going to Asgard, in THOR: THE DARK WORLD

The mighty Thor may not have a rogues gallery as impressive as Superman or Spider-Man, but one thing he does have is a rather varied assortment of enemies who have tasted his uru metal. I’m talking about his hammer, you dirty-minded people.

The upcoming sequel will have the Thunder God facing some elvish action, in the form of Christopher “Destro” Eccleston, who’ll be insisting that many realms have a north, as Malekith. But he’s not going to be the only adversary that the Odinson shall face, as a certain GI Joe will be making his presence felt.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has been cast as Algrim, a role that the actor from Lost and Oz will expand upon, with this little spoiler for those comic book fans out there. Consider yourselves warned:

HEIMDALL, OPEN THE SPOILERS!

IT IS SAID THAT YOU CAN SEE ALL THE SPOILERS FROM YOUR ODIN-SLEEP

WHERE DID YOU RECEIVE YOUR SPOILER OF FORTUNE TRAINING? SOUTH AFRICA?

I WILL NOT SPOILER YOU BROTHER!

According to Variety, Algrim will be defeated by Thor in the film (duh), get brain-hammered so hard that he’ll develop amnesia, and resurface as Kurse, a far more powerful being that will give Thor a run for his money, resulting in a major arc developing in the film.

As for the rest of the cast, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander, Stellan Skarsgard, Rene Russo and Kat Dennings are all returning for the Phase 2 sequel.

It’ll be interesting to see how Akinnuoye-Agbaje handles the role, and I’m just praying that he asks Malekith what his elf eyes see, before he gets hammered in the face.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
