So considering that Call of Duty: Black Ops – or “codblops” as I like to call it – is the talk of the news world today, I figured I may as well talk a bit about it as well.

I finally had the chance to give it a go last night, but had major issues with finding any games… which may have had something to do with the 3-point-2 friggin’ million people concurrently playing online (the stats are under investigation btw) which should be an Xbox Live record as far as I know.

We eventually landed up playing some of the Combat Training “Botmatch” mode, and its actually pretty nifty because it uses the hosts friends list to generate the bots. My wife shot me in the face, and she doesn’t even have the game. SKILLZ!

Here’s the news we didn’t post because we were calling electronic and gaming stores not for a story, but just because we LOVE chatting to half-asleep bored sounding sales people.
