In this interview Carmack discusses some of the technical aspects of their new engine, the game as well as the decision of whether or not to use Blu-Ray on PC.
This game is looking ridiculously good from a technical point of view but I do wonder how much it will be scaled down on the console versions. I take it that a Wii version will be sitting this one out.
Just something else I noticed. Did he just burn Will Wright at the end there? I think he may have. Zing!
