What was that Xbox Live Update last night?

1 min read

If you switched on your Xbox 360 yesterday, you would have had to download an update to the Xbox 360 dashboard. The update weighed in at around 20MB’s and came without any major announcement over Xbox Live, which left quite a few people bewildered as to what it was all about.

The update is actually nothing special, so there is no need to get worried or excited about anything, because what it is, is simply an update to fix an issue with the NXE that had left people using HDMI cables with absolutely no sound in the menus.

So for now, their problems seem to be resolved, although there is always the chance that the “curse of the update” may bring issues for some gamers. If anyone has had any issues since the update, then let us know.
