As I’m sure many of you are aware, The Avengers sequel Age of Ultron is currently filming in South Africa (Joburg and Cape Town specifically). You can even read our article on how the filmmakers are Seff Efrikenning up the sequel’s global destruction.

Today we want to know if any locals out there have any Avengers behind the scenes stories? Have you watched any of the on-location filming? Was your daily routine at all affected by it? Have you or anyone you know been involved in the production in some way? Share your personal accounts here.

    Only thing I have seen is a short vimeo of a stunt involving a truck flying across a street by itself. Probably Hulked? 🙂

    We went to see some of the shoot. Saw a traffic jam and people fake running away from… Something or the other. Looks like they are filming one of those generic people running away scenes. No pics. They weren’t allowed

    Closest I saw of this was The Star this morning, where a cop was on the bonnet of a car trying to speed away. Turns out people were getting quite angry about the traffic jam.
