Midweek Mouth-off: From the big screen to the small screen

Certainly a movie making the jump from the big screen to the small one is nothing new. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and M*A*S*H were famous success stories back in the 90s and 70s, respectively. And this year we should have Avengers spin-off S.H.I.E.L.D. to look forward to (also from Joss Whedon), not to mention a Hannibal Lecter TV series…

So today we’re asking of our TV-loving film fanatics: if you had your way, what movie (recent or past) would you like to see reimagined as a weekly TV show? What do you think would work in a serialised small screen format?

Firefly! Oh, snap 😉 Jokes aside, how about a Fifth Element series, that could kick some real ass!

I’d love the Angel series to make a come-back (the comic is already done, so just make the series dammit)
