Japanese LittleBigPlanet 2 player “gurichan” has created a phenomenal remake of the classic Namco arcade game, Pac-Man using the tools that LBP2 provides. Every minuet detail – right down to the audio and start-up screen, is spot on.
LittleBigPlanet 2 has already spawned many remakes, such as fl0w, Flower and Portal, but none match the mind-blowing level of similarity that gurichan’s level achieves. A few minutes into playing and you completely forget you’re in Craftworld controlling Sackboy. A classic video game, brought right up to date using the height of video game technology. It’s kind of ironic in a way, after decades of growth in the industry we’re brought right back around to Pac-Man.
