Bradley Cooper's LIMITLESS set to head to the small screen

I rather enjoyed 2011’s Limitless, a surprisingly original mystery thriller starring our favourite smooth talker, Bradley Cooper. It seems like we might be getting a bit more Limitless soon, as it is heading for the small screen.

Mr. Cooper has his roots in television, such as a supporting role in J.J. Abrams’ spy series , Alias, though he has slowly but surely cemented his status as one of Hollywood’s most popular leading men over the last few years. But it seems like he hasn’t lost his passion for TV series quite yet as he has reportedly signed on to be the executive producer in a television series based on Limitless. No word on whether he will star as well, but this is rather interesting news indeed.

With the help of a mysterious pill that enables the user to access 100 percent of his brain abilities, a struggling writer becomes a financial wizard, but it also puts him in a new world with lots of dangers.

As I mentioned earlier, I rather enjoyed the film and I think it definitely has even better potential as a series. I’m just not sure from which angle it will be approached … it might be a bit morbid for a series to follow a person who takes brain-pills for seasons at a time, though the fact that is basically turns you into genius with a penchant for getting into serious trouble does sounds like a great premise for something episodic. There is plenty to expand on from the film and it is quite clear that Bradley Cooper agrees. What do you think? Did you like Limitless and would you follow a series based on the same concept?
