We pride ourselves on offering our readers a non-discriminatory, full spectrum service around here. So while we love bringing you the most jaw-dropping trailers for the most hotly anticipated movies, that also means that sometimes we have to bring you… the other stuff. Stuff like this trailer for Sharkansas Womens Prison Massacre, a new B C D no-grade exploitation creature feature from self proclaimed “B Movie legend, Jim Wynorski”, the man behind such classics of the genre as Chopping Mall, Piranhaconda, The Bare Wench Project, Not of This Earth and Sexy Wives Sindrome. Quality!

Wynorski teams up once again with his Not of This Earth star, former underage porn star Traci Lords, for this latest in a recently long line of ridiculous shark B movies (thanks, Sharknado), which seemingly mashes up the “women in prison” exploitation genre just for good measure. Wynorski initially tried to get this movie made on Kickstarter, but failed miserably, earning just $598 off their $110 000 goal. No, those aren’t typos. And yes, the actual movie does look it was actually made for less than six hundred bucks even though IMDB claims that it eventually cost six hundred thousand!

Check it out below!

When a fracking mishap accidentally rips apart the earth’s crust, the resulting hole opens up a gaping underground waterway to a vast and mysterious ocean somewhere deep below. Instantly, giant prehistoric sharks begin wending their way upward toward a murky bog in the heart of the Arkansas Bayou. Unfortunately for a group of female prisoners on a work detail in the swamp, the deadly sharks attack without warning – pinning a hapless group of intended victims in a small deserted cabin in the heart of the wetlands. Death may be the only means of escape!

Street Sharks, is that you?! I’m going to need some pretty strong pharmaceuticals before I watch this one!

According to DangerousMinds.net, Wynorski wouldn’t comment on whether the movie will be getting a DVD release, and he is apparently still shopping it around to US TV networks with hopes of it landing on SyFy.

I don’t think even DVDs would want this on them…
