We got to see a look at the new Ben Wheatley film, High Rise starring Tom Hiddleston and it certainly seemed like it had the pennant be a strange, yet powerful and thought provoking film. And now, we have another clip to whet your appetite for the film even further.

The clip shows a conversation between Hiddleston’s lead character and that of the building architect played by Jeremy Irons and shows the uniqueness and incredible scale of the massive high rise building that the film is set in, as this scene takes place entirely on the 40th floor.

It certainly is intriguing and adds further to the mystery of it all for those whom have yet to read the JG Ballard novel on which this film is based.

High Rise also stars Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss, James Purefoy and Keeley Hawes and will be released in the UK next weekend March 18, before hitting international audiences in May.

As a way of reminder, the synopsis of the film is as follows:

1975. Two miles west of London, Dr. Robert Laing moves into his new apartment seeking soulless anonymity, only to find that the building’s residents have no intention of leaving him alone. Resigned to the complex social dynamics unfolding around him, Laing bites the bullet and becomes neighbourly. As he struggles to establish his position, Laing’s good manners and sanity disintegrate along with the building. The lights go out and the lifts fail but the party goes on. People are the problem. Booze is the currency. Sex is the panacea. Only much later, as he sits on his balcony eating the architect’s dog, does Dr. Robert Laing finally feel at home…
