One of my very favourite things about the Wii U is its ability to give me off-screen gaming. When the kids want to watch whatever inane rubbish it is they love, or the wife wants to watch yet another Gordon Ramsay show I can just continue playing on the Wii U Gamepad. It’s functionality that will be replicated on the PS4 if you happen to own a PS Vita. With the tech not being quite as intrinsic as it is on the Wii U, fears are that there might be some lag. This nearly puts those fears to rest.
While there does seem to be a slight bit of lag, it’s barely perceivable – and I see me playing a lot of PS4 from the confines of my bed.

I’m very keen on this connectivity between PS4 and Vita. I would really to display maps on the vita, would be really awesome.

After hearing about the Xbone failzors with the Watchdogs video, I’m tempted to say the PS4 is the superior of the two. Killzone looks amazing!
I imagine this boat is the PR boat of MS:

Look how cool we are! Oh shit! I love how their shades fly all over the place. Peasants has the best imagination what with the graphics on the consoles being what they are.

sis man. one year we are all harping on about 1080p Bravia TVs and that HD LED is the only way that games should be played.
Now we play on little eye strain screens. I will never understand it.

the funny thing is I told my wife about this feature, and she said, “if you’re going to pay R2500 for a Vita, why not just move the old xbox/ps3 to the bedroom instead.. plenty of stuff you never played on there”
LOL!

Much of my Wii U time is spent on the gamepad screen alone , it is not such a disconnected experience in terms of family when you do it on the small screen , rather than in the next room . SO yes , not the best experience , but for some of us very convenient game time.

Just played it at 0.25 speed, jeez, even on that speed I could not see the lag…May have been there, but not discernible.

The only issue I have is that the vita doesnt have L2 and R2 buttons, how does that work then? with the Touch pad on the back?
