What a Valorant Bundle Actually Costs, and Why Nobody Can Tell You the Price

When purchasing a bundle in Valorant, you will be able to see the price before paying. Compare several older bundles in a database, however, and things quickly become less neat. You may find all the skin names recorded without a record of the cost of each.

This issue comes from considering a listing of cosmetic items as if it were a receipt for purchases. The price of a bundle, the individual item prices and an estimated total based on the tier system are different measures.

The number Riot does publish

Riot’s official skin price tiers provide a base to begin with: 875 VP for Select, 1,275 VP for Deluxe and 1,775 VP for Premium. However, when looking at Ultra and Exclusive, the listed price varies. Simply knowing which tier a particular skin falls under is not sufficient to determine its purchase price.

Running that calculation across VALDB’s Valorant database gives a clean ranking of the heaviest sets. In its report dated 5 August 2026, Radiant Entertainment System, Phaseguard, Elderflame, ORA by OneTap and Evori Dreamwings each have five items, with a listed separate-purchase value of 9,900 VP.

The snapshot used here covered 81 bundles and put the average separate-purchase value at 6,154 VP. These figures should stay tied to that dated analysis. The sample and average on the live page have since changed; the older figures do not represent a current store quote.

VALDB reports that these component totals do not include items whose prices were not published. A collection labelled with five items does not necessarily represent a sum of five separate prices. Given the missing prices and variable prices of upper-tier items, checking the prices for individual components would be required before referring to the total as an actual separate-purchase cost.

Why this is not the same as “best value”

If you are going to purchase just the Vandal skin, how much does it cost to get this skin alone? Comparing that with the full collection gives you a better idea of what you would spend when all you really want is the Vandal. Five skins in a single set could be a terrible buy. If you like to use one weapon most of the time and have no real desire for the other skins in the set, there is little reason to spend money on them.

When deciding whether any other skins in the set are worth the additional VP, begin with your one or two favourite weapons and go from there. A high number in a database will not help you make these decisions.

The upgrade levels change the maths again

What was shown in a showcase may require more than just buying the base skin. There are several things you can unlock using Radianite Points, including some variants, sounds, animations and finishers. Before you buy anything, check which particular skins have which upgrade options available. Not all skins have the same level of customisation.

Radianite Points are separate from VP. They can be earned through progression such as Battle Pass rewards, or bought with VP. Having enough points saved can spare you another cash payment, although the upgrade still uses that balance. Work out what you need for the version you want before buying the base skin.

No resale, no recovery

Once you buy a skin for your account you cannot sell it to another player through a Valorant player marketplace. There is none. Gifting a new purchase to a friend is a separate feature, rather than a way to trade skins you already own.

You are paying for items with zero resale value, so comparisons with other shooters that allow trading only go so far. Refund eligibility is subject to Riot’s policy and applicable consumer rights. Not having a resale market does not mean there can never be a refund.

What about waiting for a discount?

Six personal discounted skin offers are available through the Night Market. Riot’s Night Market eligibility guide includes Select, Deluxe and Premium skins, plus some Exclusive melee skins. Melee skins are not completely excluded.

However, you can’t request a full bundle at a discounted rate. If the particular skin you were waiting for is missing from your selection, it could be ineligible or simply not among your offers.

While you may miss a featured collection during its initial sale, that does not mean you will lose every chance to buy all of those skins. Ordinary individual skins may eventually return through store rotation, with no set date. Limited-edition lines such as Champions do not return to the rotating store or Night Market after their sale ends, according to Riot.

The honest conclusion

In the dated VALDB snapshot, 9,900 VP is roughly 60% higher than the 6,154 VP average. That information depends on what was counted. It does not establish the most expensive bundle or prove what you would pay individually for every item.

When deciding whether to buy an offer available now, take note of the exact price and the skins you plan to use. If you want upgrades, account for their Radianite requirements too. Decide whether you feel comfortable spending that amount on cosmetics you cannot resell.

A great deal on items you do not want will not increase their usefulness to you.
