I realised yesterday that 2010 was nothing less than a great year for racing games. Blur, Split/Second, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Gran Turismo 5 and F1 2010 all in one year. For petrol-heads like me, its a dream come true.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 will now be releasing on February 8 in the U.S and February 11 in South Africa. Now with all those great racing games out already, that’s only 3 months away, but we all know that in videogame time that’s like eleventy-kajillion light years away, so we will be ready for it when it gets here.
I’m personally a big fan of the original and can’t wait to get my hands on the sequel. There’s nothing better than spending my days giving hot women free lifts home from their shopping trips in my overly sexy sportscar.
There are also going to be special incentives to pre-order from specific stores, but since its only for the U.S I haven’t listed the press release here, but you can check it out through the source link below.

The original was highly (lowly?) underrated in my opinion. Was an excellent game. When enabling “hardcore” mode, the game’s physics was on par with any racer today.
Can’t wait to get my paws on this!

My favourite 360 rancing game, brilliant game but lacked variation…

Lacked variety how? It had tons of cars, different modes, multiplayer and a big-ass island? 😎

the cars are sufficient, the race types kinda got very samey after you finish the first lot… I admit at first the passenger mode and the delivery mode were very inrteresting but eventually become kinda

One thing I REALLY didn’t like about TDU was how later on, they gimped the driving physics, and then made “hardcore” driving physics a paid for DLC pack.
That was complete and utter bullshit and they had better not do it again.

The original was awesome. A whole Hawaiian island to explore, and it took me ages to get that “drive every road” achievement.
Good times!
