Ahh, limited collector’s editions of games are nice, eh? Extra special packaging, extra content and shiny, wholly superfluous swag to fill up collector’s display cabinets. They’re mostly pretty damned desireable – although their premium features do come with a premium price. Sometimes though, with a bit of patience, you can bag a princely prize for a pauper’s price. Online retailer kalahari.com’s clearing out their stock of unsold collector’s editions – and there’s some might fine gaming to be had for very little money.
The best of the bunch – in my most humble opinion – would be the augmented editions of Deus Ex human Revolution for Xbox 360 and PS3 for just R360 a piece; The ridiculously large Helghast Edition of Playstation 3 exclusive Killzone 3 for just R370 and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition for Just R170. There’s a bunch more – for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 – so check out kalahari.com’s special’s page for some pretty sweet deals.
