First there was Valentines Day, then there was New Year’s Eve and having directed the previous two this time around Garry Marshall brings you Mother’s Day. Following the same recipe of taking all the feel good sentiment that comes with any one of these big holidays and cramming in a whole bunch of everyone’s favorite stars. It’s a recipe that works and on some level you usually end up finding something that you can connect with and enjoy in these movies – And they fun.
Mother’s Day sees Marshall reuniting with superstar Julia Roberts for the fourth in the up and coming comedy. Joining Roberts are fellow stars Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Jason Sudeikis, Timothy Olyphant, Hector Elizondo, and Jack Whitehall. That sure is a talented ensemble and based off this trailer the movie looks kind of promising – as far as holiday movies are concerned.
