It’s soon going to be…that time of the year again. Now make no mistake, Christmas is awesome. You’ve got one day every year that’s a guilt-free reason to binge on food, snacks and warm drinks. Plus, you get presents, which hopefully aren’t crap.
The dark flipside to this silly season however, is that you’ve also got to deal with festive movies. You know the kind that I’m talking about: Christmas movies that are so sickeningly sweet and optimistic, that you may contract diabetes after watching them.
So here’s a trailer for Love The Coopers, which is keeping that tradition alive and well.
LOVE THE COOPERS follows the Cooper clan as four generations of extended family come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration. As the evening unfolds, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn to night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.
There’s a big cast attached to this film, that includes Diane Keaton, John Goodman, Olivia Wilde, Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried, Marisa Tomei, Alan Arkin, Jake Lacy, Anthony Mackie, and Steve Martin as the narrator.
Jesse “I Am Sam” Nelson directs for a Yuletide release.
