Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Equal parts remake and awesome, but a rousing success all the way as it cleaned up reeeeeaaaaaaal nice at the box office last year. It was a film with a pitch perfect balance of nostalgia and new material, a new episode set in a galaxy far, far away where new faces were coached by a departing cast of old favourites.

And you don’t get more nostalgic than seeing a certain pair of smugglers on the big screen, back in action and roaring unintelligibly along the way. And that’s the nostalgia that Hot Toys has managed to capture perfectly with their sixth-scale replicas of old man Han Solo and his cohort Chewbacca. I mean, just look at them:

Han Solo and Chewbacca will be available individually, but be prepared to shell out for them. Solo will set you back $244.99, while Chewie alone is $279.99. I don’t even want to convert that to Rands. As a duo, you’ll pay $519 for Star Wars’ greatest tag team, when they hit shelves between September and November.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
