Wonkatasty

I was going to use Schnitzengruben as the header image for today’s Tasty Tuesday, but I’ve already had 15 – and 15’s my limit on Schnitzengruben. Instead, you’re getting a real life Wonka bar. Of course, the now-passed legendary actor Gene Wilder took the role of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, and made it his own. There was just something special about Wilder’s delivery. That clam exterior that just barely hid the sort of manic explosiveness he was capable of. Rest in peace, your brilliant bastard.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
