Dunk House

Greetings friends! Sit down for a moment, and let me share with you the heart-breaking tale of Lazygamer All Stars – a Rocket League team that dreamt big, but sadly, met a horrible, sticky end.

Ok, maybe I’m being a tad dramatic – nobody died or anything! Still, this is a sad story, so pay close attention, and have those tissues handy…

After placing third in the highly prestigious Super Lazygamer Rocket League Championship last year, Lazygamer All Stars thought they had it in them to go on and win the DGL Preseason Cup. They trained hard (see: Gavin practiced alone every single day), and genuinely believed that first place was within their reach. Long story short, they lost horribly in the early stages. They were sent back home on the very first bus.

After arriving home, an explosive argument broke out. Alessandro blamed me for stealing the ball all the time, I blamed Gavin for training too hard, and Gavin told Al to “get gud”. It was a terrible – the sort of stuff that ended friendships within seconds!

We’ve all gone our separate ways since, but I believe have a plan to bring us all back together. You see, Psyonix have been working hard on a basketball mode for Rocket League, and I believe that with enough work, Lazygamer All Stars can reform, and go on to win the NBA!

How long will we have to wait for the new mode so we can get this dream on the road? Not too long thankfully. It’ll be out sometime in the next few weeks…

Who am I kidding? We can barely rocket jump, let alone hope to put a ball through a freaking hoop!

Still, Dunk House looks all sorts of fun, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Maybe Alessandro and Gavin can let bygones be bygones, and we can all play together, like the good old days. Can’t we all just be friends? Seriously though, where’s Gavin? I haven’t seen him since the great loss a few weeks ago…
