Gamestop has made an oopsy by outing a new version of the Wii-mote that Nintendo hasn’t yet confirmed.
The Wii Remote Plus is going to be bundled with FlingSmash and while Nintendo are now admitting a new controller is coming they aren’t saying exactly what the difference will be or when it will arrive.
However using our amazing powers of deductive reasoning we are going to say the Wii Remote Plus is a Wii-mote with a built in Motion Plus detector.
Not the most exciting thing but a logical step forward and with a release date of the 7th of November for FlingSmash you can expect an official announcement from Nintendo any day now.
I haven’t even picked up any Motion Plus adaptors for my 4 Wii-motes yet so really this doesn’t interest me. If I accidently break one of mine I will get this otherwise I’ll get my accuracy jollies of with PlayStation Move and leave the Wii for Mario and family fun games.
