Aliens: Colonial Marines is still coming

1 min read

Yesterday afternoon Sega sent our a very surprising tweet to announce that the long awaited and presumed dead, Alien: Colonial Marines, is alive and well and will be coming to a gaming console near you in 2012.

And further more it will be at E3 this year so Geoff and Ian should have some real details around this title next week.

I was also pretty surprised to hear that Gearbox Software, the guys behind Duke Nukem Forever and Borderlands, are also working on Aliens now. They seem to have a knack for making awesome games and securing those famous titles so I still have a glimmer of hope that they’ll release a real sequel to Leisure Suit Larry in the near future… but that’s another thing entirely.

Sega have also released 2 screens and a video to coincide with that tweet which can be found below.
