Remember a few weeks ago, when we found out that airport officials had nabbed a would be drug smuggler, who had hidden some of that fine Peruvian sugar inside of his next-gen console?
Kinda stupid, right? I mean, after that fiasco, who would be stupid enough to try that stunt again?
Jamaican border authorities (The irony is rich and chocolate coated here), recently stopped a traveller, who was found to have hidden 24 pounds of cocaine in his X-box 360. The man had already got past customs, but had left behind a third bag, and when he went back for it, the officials decided to investigate.
The man, who has only been identified as a “Guyanese traveller”, admitted that he was paid $5 million to ferry the drugs over. So the next time you find your duties-free console confiscated, at least you’ll know why.
