Bollywood, the largest film industry in the world, is set to get it’s first game based on the popular movie Gahjini.
According to IMDB, it is about a “rich tycoon suffering from short term memory loss due to being hit by a metal pole when trying to intervene on his girlfriend’s murder.” So, think Memento, and you are pretty much on the right track. A police officer then searches for said tycoon through his diary as the tycoon, Sanjay Singhania, searches for his girlfriends murderer by committing some of his own justice. It involves other characters doing other things but that really isn’t that interesting.
The game is being developed by FXLabs, an Indian company and will feature voice acting from the stars of the movie. Its surprising that a game hasn’t been made earlier from Bollywood material given the hideous amounts of money the industry makes.
