Curiosity – What’s inside the cube?

22Cans, Peter Molyneux’s new studio will release their first game next week, called Curiosity. Described as a kind of grand-scale social experiment, I really want to know what’s inside the cube!

So what is Curiosity? It is a free game for iOS and Android where players will work together to tap on a giant cube hoping to find out what’s inside. In other words, you can be Molyneux’s guinea for free. Curiosity also known as “the cube” is the first of 22 experiments from 22Cans. What ever it is, I really hope it’s going to be something amazing, possibly, but not necessarily including something robotic or an entirely new game!

The game is set to release on 7 November, here’s what 22Cans had to say about it:

We are delighted, no actually we’re ecstatic and we hope you will be too; Curiosity – what’s inside the cube is READY. It has been approved by Apple, and we have finished and tested the Android version. We have decided to set a Launch date of 00:22am PST (08:22am UCT,GMT) Wednesday 7th November, so from then you will be able to take part in what, for us is a unique global experiment. Joining hopefully thousands of people on the journey to the centre of the cube is going to be a fascinating experiment that we will share with the world. Remember you could be the single person to find out what TRULY amazing thing lies in the centre. Thank you for sticking with us, it’s been a couple of very stressful and fascinating weeks but the moment is finally upon us. What device will you be using to explore your curiosity?

Surprisingly the studio only has just over 3.8k likes on their Facebook page; I would have thought that they would have had thousands more, especially for a new game created by a former Lionhead and Microsoft employee.
