Dead Rising 2 : Case Zero Infects Xbox Live

If you’re a fan of the rather excellent, but quite painful Dead Rising, you’ll be pretty excited for the sequel. If you’re an Xbox 360 owner you get your Zombie killing fix a little earlier, courtesy of Xbox 360 exclusive DLC Case Zero.

A prequel to the game proper, Case Zero sees protagonist Chuck Greene – who hasn’t to my knowledge, covered wars – attempting to save his daughter by fighting off hordes of undead using an array of player- assembled weapons. It’ll be available on Xbox Live later today for a measly 400 MSP, giving you around 3 hours of zombie-mincing gameplay. Some have scoffed at the idea of paying for what’s essentially a demo – but the fact it’s a self contained story, and the fact that you can carry your levels through to the main game kinda tickles me.

Leaked gameplay footage after the jump.

Yeah..I think it’s a pretty sweet deal. Zombie sandbox mayhem for about 5 USD? Bargain.

Are you kidding me? It’s region blocked? Is that why my download stopped at 89% last night, and I can’t get it to start this morning? I am absolutely furious now.

    MOTHER F*****!!
