To make money, you’ve got to spend money. And over the last couple of years, Disney has sunk quite a few dollars into their new franchise, Infinity. And according to them, it’s doing rather well.
Here’s what one spokesperson had to say to GamesIndustry regarding sales:
Disney Infinity sales are off to a strong start, selling 294,000 starter pack units in the US during the last two weeks of August. We’re very pleased with the launch in both the U.S. and globally, and believe Disney Infinity is well-positioned for the critical holiday sales season.
According to NPD figures, Disney Infinity came in third overall. It’s been rumoured to be the most expensive game that Disney has ever had a hand in producing. It’s not a bad game, and the toybox mode is where most of the fun lies.
If Disney can keep that momentum going, then there should be some interesting festive competition when Skylanders Swap Force launches next month.

lol That is how I look at work while trolling LG all day. If it was toooo much to drink then one of Rince’s chair’s would be broken and I am on my back but not a drop of beer has been splashed.

So that is why XBone replaced Infinity. It has already been patented by the Mouse.
