EA Announces FaceBreaker

1 min read

Well hopefully by now you have all bought and played Burnout: Paradise City… (My review is coming I am just struggling to put the game down), well if you have then you will know all about the real time car deformation sequences.

Well it looks like EA is taking that philosophy to where it really belongs. Into a boxing ring.

The latest IP from the juggernaut that is EA is FaceBreaker, described as a cross between Team Fortress and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing…

This seems to be a humorous approach to boxing to counter the serious and skillful Fight Night series.

My only worry now is whether the real time facial deformation will be funny or gross especially since you will be able to transfer your face onto a character before getting mangled. I guess only time will tell.

Facebreakers is coming to the 360, PS3 and Wii. No release date has been announced.

I for one welcome our future robotic overlords

  • I don’t know what’s up? We have the power to get amazing realism on the next gen consoles and they give us this? I HATE TEAM FORTRESS 2! And yes all you fan boys can go off about it. I think it’s dumb! I wanted a Half-life online experience No this as well… I prefer Fight Night
