Many gamers were blissfully unaware that Exclusive books had entered the video game retailing business – until their Flashmob sale yesterday, where they pretty much gave away games including Fable 3, Dead Rising 2, FIFA 11 for the absurd cost of R50.

Now that you know they’re in the game of getting you games, they’re going to try endear themselves to you more. One way they’ll be doing that is by holding midnight launches – and they’ll be holding one for what’s likely to be one of the biggest PC games this year, expansion to the insanely popular MMO, World of Warcraft Cataclysm.

Hit the jump for details!

The midnight launch will take place on the evening of 6 December at their Greenstone Branch – and they’ll be trying to keep the launch fun, instead of the regular “wait in a queue like zombies until midnight” launch.

They’ll be hosting a Guitar Hero Jam Off – with the winner bagging themselves a Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock Super Bundle; just one of the many prizes they’ll be giving digital residents of Azeroth. In the run up to midnight they’ll be handing out spot prizes, as well as declaring a winner for their World of Warcraft Fan Art competition. you can read more details about the Fan Art competition here.

Copies of the game will be available to those who’ve pre-ordered and those who haven’t – and each copy will include a promotional voucher that can be redeemed at www.exclus1ves.co.za.

Light snacks and drinks (of the non-alcoholic persuasion, you freeloaders!) will be served too.
