Fallen Frontier – the new game from some ex-Halo guys

1 min read

Four guys (programmers, designers and producers) from Bungie worked on the first three Halo games. They then split to form their own indie studio called Moonshot Games. They’ve revealed their next title and it’s called Fallen Frontier.

It’s a very stylised 2D platformer set in a sci-fi universe; think Shank only in the future and with robots and vast space port backdrops. The other game that immediately sprung to mind was Contra, but that’s because Fallen Frontier features two player co-op, which is fantastic news. Gameplay trailer after the jump.

The developers’ website says that they’re aiming for a 2012 release, so we’re still a while away. Their objective is to see Fallen Frontier release via Steam, PSN and XBLA.
