Despite the fact that the hamster-filled tubes that power Lazygamer in the background are still flustered by the results of Cliff Bleszinski’s tweetrage, there’s no reason not to post more Gears of War news, right?
According to Epic’s Rod Ferguson, later this afternoon we’ll be treated to a mutiplayer reveal for the insanely anticipated sequel.
Using the ubiquitous twitter, Rod Ferguson (Who goes about calling himself “GearsVikingâ€) tweeted :
“Thursday 6 AM PST – 9 AM EST is when they can post all of the goodness,†referring to the multiplayer reveal contained in the next OXM to hit shelves. According to my very shaky grasp on world timezones, that’ll be 3pm.
Not much has been said about the game’s multiplayer, other the news (and recent demonstration at Eurogamer Expo) of “Beast mode,†a sort of inverse of the very popular Horde mode from the last game. What would you like from Gears of War 3’s multiplayer?
Me? I just want it to feel more like the first game’s multiplyer, which was a little tighter, a lot glitchier, and just a little more intimate.
