I’ve been relatively sugar-free over the last couple of days, forsaking all wonderfully delicious snacks and treats in an attempt to lose the Christmas weight-gain. And it’s been successful so far, as I’ve gone from schoolyard fat kid ridicule levels back down to chubby stuntman levels.

And while I know that losing that protective layer of fat over my rippling six-pack abs is actually a good thing, the withdrawal symptoms of not having any candy have hit me harder than a Jimmy Carr comeback.

It’s a fine line to walk, and seeing other people enjoy sugary treats is even harder, making my lust for candy even worse. Which is primarily the reason that I’m writing this post while awaiting trial for literally stealing candy from a baby.
