I’m actually pretty excited for Halo 4, as are a number of other players. Over the last decade, that franchise has etched itself deep into my memory, so deep in fact, that any future offspring of mine might have it in their DNA as well.
And it’s an effect that can be seen everywhere, as the game is still prevalent today, in all forms of media. But did you know that Halo even has a seat on the UN Security Council, according to the BBC?
While talking about the UNSC response to the current Syrian crisis, the BBC production crew obviously did not pay enough attention to their Google Image search, as they ended up using the Halo UNSC symbol, instead of the actual, real world version.
Heck, the UNSC in Halo only shares an initialism, as it actually stands for something completely different, The United Nations Space Command, in fact. Although it would be kind of awesome if the real world crossed over with the various video game worlds.
Why, just imagine, having Mario as the UN ambassador…
