Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have confirmed that a new Lego Harry Potter game will be hitting stores later this year on every console imaginable. That would be the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PSP, Nintendo DS and 3DS, Nintendo Wii and the NGP.

The game will follow the events of The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows. So if you are a Potter fan, hit the jump for the Prior Incantato.

“In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, we are giving gamers a truly epic conclusion to the most successful movie franchise in history with delightful gameplay for fans of all ages,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “We have built upon the first game and are giving fans even more magical abilities, puzzle solving and exploration, in addition to our distinctive brand of hilarious LEGO humour and charm.”

“LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 offers Harry Potter and LEGO fans an immersive experience that is fun and accessible for players of all ages,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “With this game, TT Games captures everything fans love about the Harry Potter universe – and adds a distinct LEGO twist.”

Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean is on our doorstep and receiving great reviews across the interwebs, so I am excited to get my hands on Years 5-7. We will make sure to get more info on the game soon and post the trailer when it is released.
