Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare Kicks Off The EA Show

Peter Moore the Chief Operating Officer opens up the floor the the EA show, following an epileptic inducing light show. The first game to be showcased comes from the fantastic minds that bought you the insanely popular Plants Vs Zombies.

If you haven’t experienced the first PvZ game, then you surely have been living under a rock. It has been ported to just about every single console that exists. I myself have played it on PC as well as my iPad.

What I hadn’t expected though, was a game seperate to PvZ 2, and its a 4 player experience. Multiplayer! Another interesting factor is that this isn’t your typical right to left gameplay reminiscent of the first game. Instead we are treated to a third player perspective, with each of the players acting as a different plant. Co-op tower defence/horde mode set in the plants vs zombies world? I am sold already.

It seems like you can run around as the plant of your choice, but you can also plant others to help  you take down the enemy. Boss fights make an appearance, and we are shown a battle against a Gargantuan. Quite simply, the graphics retain the cartoony and simple look (in 3D), but the gameplay does certainly look addictive. I would imagine that this is something best experienced with friends, but will still be enjoyable alone. GRAB YER PEASHOOTERS AND GET READY FOR WAR!
