Rayman Legends looks like glorious fun for all on the Wii U

While ZombieU and Darksiders 2 proves that the WiiU is a console aimed at serious gamers as well, Nintendo isn’t ready yet to toss out the lucrative all ages pie. ANd what better way to debut a new console this year, than with the sublime platforming fun that is Rayman?

Rayman legends looks like an oil painting in motion so far, and the added Wii U controls are the icing on the cake of this manic platformer. See for yourself after the jump, and prepare yourself for a few heartfelt pangs of retro nostalgia in the process.

That rock melody had me hooked. Hooked I say!
