Contrary to popular belief, herbal medicine can work wonders. Albeit only in a fictional setting, where it belongs. HEYOH! That being said, Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 2 is bringing back the holiest of herbs, cultivating collections of the holistic medicine and making them worth collecting as an easy cure-all for what ails ya.

In this case, your physical maladies being zombie bites and getting too much tongue action from a Licker. As always, there’ll be a trio of herbs that you can collect:

Herb2
  • Green herbs – Easy to find, will sort out your scrapes in a jiffy
  • Blue herbs – Useful later in Resident Evil 2, can detox you better than a dodgy colonic
  • Red herbs – The support class of herbs, which can be combined with the other two to boost their effects

Once you’ve got the herbs, you can browse through your inventory to combine them and create wonder drugs that’ll be handy to have in Raccoon City. Here’s a list of what does what:

Herb1

1x Green Herb 

Restore a small amount of health.

2x Green Herb

Restore a medium amount of health.

3x Green Herb

Health is fully restored.

1x Green Herb and 1x Red Herb 

Health is fully restored.

2xGreen Herb and 1x Red Herb 

Health is fully restored, incoming damage is reduced for a short amount of time.

1x Blue Herb 

Cure all poisons.

1x Blue Herb and 1x Green Herb

Cure all poisons and restore a small amount of health.

1x Blue Herb and 2x Green Herb 

Cure all poisons and restore a medium amount of health.

1x Blue Herb and 1x Red Herb

Cure all poisons and fortify against toxins.

1x Green Herb, 1x Blue Herb and 1x Red Herb 

Health is fully restored, all poisons are cured, resistance to toxins and damage is reduced for a short amount of time.
